U16 Div 2
South Hobart White came within a whisker of winning their first game on the weekend.
The first half was very tight. Jason in goals was rock solid. Nico controlled the midfield, Alex Johnson wore his player like a glove and
Timmy was a dynamo down the wing. The breakthrough came late in the half when Chris Wright managed to get free in the box to score.
In the second half it remained tight. Kingborough scored to level and then Conor Castles -Lynch slammed in a strike from outside the box into the top corner of the net to give South Hobart the lead. In the dying seconds of the game Kingborough equalised, despite the Kingborough linesman flagging offside, the referee over ruled him allowing the goal to stand. Great game by everyone.
